Junior Frontend Engineer

General description of this role:

 

We are looking for a Junior Frontend engineer to join our IT team. Junior Frontend engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing web components, debugging and completing assigned features. You will also review system requirements. 

​

The Frontend technician role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be an open minded person, eager to learn and capable of independent work. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.

Tasks and responsibilities:

​

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

• Develop JS based Fronend components for our solution. 

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities with product owner

• Debug and resolve identified and logged frontend bugs. 

• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

• Develop and apply features for new and existing products to meet client needs

• Stay up-to-date with new frontend tools and languages. 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of software Frontend methodologies, tools and processes including JavaScript, ReactJS, CSS and Webpack. 

• Residency Visa and Work permit for employment in Spain

• Hands on expirience with markup languages

• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging

• Understanding of layour aesthetics

• Excellent analytical skills

• Open minded approach to knowledge 

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus

• Experience with MobX and functional approach to programing is a plus 

• Ability to travel into our Spanish office branch on a weekly basis.
