Barcelona, October 2025. Beawre took part in the sixth edition of the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW), held at DFactory Barcelona and organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB). The event has become an international meeting point for the new economy, bringing together more than 12,000 professionals from 87 countries and generating over 14,000 networking connections.
Beawre’s CEO, Victor Muntés, participated as a speaker in the session “Cyber-resilience against Emerging Challenges”, alongside experts from the Industrial Cybersecurity Center (CCI), CaixaBank, and Fujitsu. The session’s participants agreed on the need for organizations to evolve from a purely preventive mindset towards a comprehensive approach to cyber-resilience that combines prevention, detection, response, and recovery capabilities.
According to Muntés, “the key is not only to avoid risks but to adapt and recover quickly to maintain operational continuity. Cyber-resilience requires combining technology, processes, and organizational culture.”
Beawre’s participation in BNEW 2025 is part of the dissemination and exploitation activities of the DYNABIC project (Dynamic business continuity and response of critical systems against advanced cyber-physical threats), funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme. Within DYNABIC, Beawre develops advanced risk analysis and operational control tools to strengthen cyber-physical resilience in critical infrastructures, integrating artificial intelligence and automation technologies.
Through its participation in BNEW, Beawre reinforces its commitment to collaboration between companies and institutions to tackle emerging challenges in security and sustainability, contributing to building a more adaptive, digital, and resilient economy.
