Beawre's awarded AI used in one of the largest constructions in the world



Ferrovial announces the project "Digitised Risk Management tools – AI and integrated data management – for schedule performance, ITER & NLE", using Beawre's AI-driven technology, as one of the 12 winners of the Innovate Construction Awards 2021.


On December 21st, Ferrovial held the Innovate Construction Awards gala, the annual awards ceremony of their Construction division that recognizes innovative actions implemented on construction sites around the world. In this edition, and under the slogan ‘Think Big’, more than 120 proposals were received from around the world, and awards were given to the 12 best on-site innovations and initiatives developed in 2021.


On July 21st 2019, Beawre signed a contract with Ferrovial Agroman SA (Spain), Vinci Construction Grands Projets S.A.S. (France), Razel-Bec S.A.S. (France), Dodin Campenon Bernard S.A.S. (France), Campenon Bernard Sud-Est S.A.S. (France), GTM Sud S.A.S. (France), and Chantiers Modernes Sud S.A.S. (France). This consortium works under a contract with Fusion for Energy (F4E), the European Union’s organization for Europe’s contribution to the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER), to build the Tokamak complex and to design and build several auxiliary buildings at Cadarache, north of Aix-en-Provence in southern France.



The ITER project is a first-of-a-kind global collaboration in the field of energy. It is the world's largest experimental fusion facility and is designed to demonstrate the scientific and technological feasibility of fusion power. Because of the characteristics of this unique construction project and the criticality of the infrastructure, quality and risk control is essential. To control quality and risk, the consortium conducts strict management of the internal documentation and the schedules to deliver this documentation.


Using Beawre’s technology the international consortium improved awareness, minimized risks, and tracked the performance of their project. They now get real-time analysis of their key drivers of the months to come, based on the project specific track-record in similar situations. This brings enormous management capacities for the whole organization. They can definitively improve their reactivity, and thus reduce delays and budget overruns, producing significant saving per year.
